would have been perfect for my intended purpose due to its size, but I could not get an image on the screen that didn’t flicker and distort, it was like a strobe light on your TV I tried different locations with both the receiver and the camera, some gave a slightly better picture but I never managed to get a picture that I could define as satisfactory. I also tried switching off all other Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices to no effect

The camera body itself is approximately a three-quarter-inch cube, with trailing aerial and power lead, for either the supplied mains adaptor, or a 9v battery (also supplied, which was nice!). The receiver is mains powered and gives both audio and video outputs via phono connectors (but the camera doesn’t have a mic, so won’t transmit sound). You’ll need a capture device to plug it into a PC, but other displays (such as a TV) should work directly.

I now have a Character Options Doctor Who 12-inch RC Supreme Dalek with added Web Cam. Lovely

This is a bright little camera with a reasonably good picture relative to the selling price. As with all wireless cameras it is subject to local interference. It also has non-glow IR LED’s, which are essential if the camera is to be used for surveillance work. However there are some down-sides. The current drain is so high that it will flatten a battery in minutes especially if the LED’s are switched on, therefore use of the supplied mains adaptor is essential. It appears not to operate on the 2.4 MHz wave band and therefore cannot be used in conjunction with other 2.4 MHz operated equipment. Also it requires re-tuning every time it is used and therefore cannot be operated automatically. Lastly it is not supplied with a fixing bracket and therefore has to be fixed with a blob of ‘Bluetak’ or similar. However it still comes out at around half of the price of some of its competitors. Ultimately you have to decide what you want and what you are prepared to pay. The choice is yours.

Firstly I must say how good the delevery service was with Digiflex.Now to my bone of contention the instructions that come with this item are so poor that they might just as well be in any other language than english. Even on the compact CD disc they are unreadable. May I suggest that if you are going to sell these items then you darn well make sure that comprehensive instructions are included as standard.Not pigeon english. where is your customer satisfaction & service?
