The camera body itself is approximately a three-quarter-inch cube, with trailing aerial and power lead, for either the supplied mains adaptor, or a 9v battery (also supplied, which was nice!). The receiver is mains powered and gives both audio and video outputs via phono connectors (but the camera doesn’t have a mic, so won’t transmit sound). You’ll need a capture device to plug it into a PC, but other displays (such as a TV) should work directly.

I now have a Character Options Doctor Who 12-inch RC Supreme Dalek with added Web Cam. Lovely

Even on the compact CD disc they are unreadable. would have been perfect for my intended purpose due to its size, but I could not get an image on the screen that didn’t flicker and distort, it was like a strobe light on your TV I tried different locations with both the receiver and the camera, some gave a slightly better picture but I never managed to get a picture that I could define as satisfactory. I also tried switching off all other Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices to no effect

good product ,clear night vision ,only complaint to much interferance when using wirless conection but ok when using wired connect,over all good for price but would prefere better wirless connection.

So based on the other quite positive reviews of the camera itself and the package with transmitter, I purchased this system to use as a “baby cam” for my son at night. The big problem is interference and a short range. The system immediately wiped out my wi-fi connection – I was even prepared to live with this in-so-far as you could disconnect the receiver when finished viewing, but you need to disconnect the camera to use your internet which defeats the purpose (ie was going to use camera when son went to sleep, then disconnect the receiver to use internet again but would in fact have to go into son’s room to turn off camera). And even with wi-fi off, the interference (presumably from other electronics) gave a constant flicker. Once I moved the camera one floor up (range of about 8/9m) the picture was barely watchable.

The only positive I can think of is the night vision is very clear.

If you run nothing else electric anywhere between the camera and screen, then this is a good low-cost camera. For the rest of the world, forget it.
